High Plains Community Schools
High Plains Community School began in August of 2000. They are a consolidated
district made up of students from the Hordville, Polk, and Clarks communities.
Each town hosts a part of the school district. Polk has the High School and a
K-3 Elementary, Clarks has the Middle School containing grades 6-8 and a K-3
Elementary.
The Mission of the High Plains Community School is to provide an educational
environment which develops citizens who are lifelong learners and can contribute
